THE ASK: Create a series of illustrations for an article about the cancellation of NASA’s lunar rover VIPER.
THE ASK: Create a series of illustrations for an article about the cancellation of NASA’s lunar rover VIPER.
In 2024, NASA defunded and disassembled VIPER, a lunar rover set to scan the moon for water forms and map ice patterns. Taking the track pattern found in photos from testing I created a series of images that depicted the rover going off-track, never reaching its final destination. The flat lays show the dismantled rover, broken into pieces indistinguishable of their original place.
