Align Magazine is an award-winning magazine at the University of Oregon where I’ve spent the last four years art directing, designing, and editing. Below are a few of my favorite pieces from my time at Align.

THE DETAILS: Plastic surgery is becoming more commonplace and because of that, we are constantly navigating the search for authenticity and self-confidence. With photos that look almost stitched in and letters pressed onto gauze, the layout emulates the form of plastic surgery. Published in print for Align Magazine W24.

THE DETAILS: In the wake of Saltburn, we are asking new questions about leisure and the violence that it can hold.
 

DESIGN + ART DIRECTION + PHOTOGRAPHY

The way a person dresses is often a reflection of how a person feels, both about themself and about the world around them. We asked Sachi and Joey, two people who express themselves with their clothing, to bring us into their rooms where we learned about who they are behind their outward expression. Each of the models was shot in their own bedroom on a roll of Portra 400. Published in print for Align Magazine W23.
