Ainsley McRae is an art director and designer from Portland, Oregon. She’s currently creating out of Eugene, OR, and has worked on projects ranging from signage for TwitchCon Paris to art directing shoots and designing spreads for Align Magazine.

DESIGN + ART DIRECTION
Allen Hall Advertising is the University of Oregon’s full-service student-run agency. The problem with being student-run? Every year we have a new cohort of students learning how to do the work. We created this zine to help support the connection between concentrations and help individuals understand what their role is in all of this.



AHA is made up of 75 creative people learning how to do the work while doing it. The pressure is high and the quality of learning is higher. To appeal to all 75 people entering the world of AHA, we created custom diagrams to match every position so visual learners could see themselves in it. We also had a custom cover created that masked the inside cover until it was opened, revealing the true cover. It’s a nod to the process -- you’ve got to look deeper to get the whole message.
